Truly baffling watching the escalation towards another US Middle East war at the urging of non other than that Israeli war criminal, who’s long prodded and incited Washington to war, again n again.
The US President speaks of having destroyed Iran nuclear programs last year using “beautiful” fighter jets, and yet threatens Iran with devastating war over nuclear program!
He also speaks sporadically of Iran’s missiles- at Netanyahu’s prodding- knowing all too well Iran, with its history, couldn’t or wouldn’t give up its last deterrence.
He hadn’t spoken of democracy for a long time. But he speaks of Regime Change which is not only illegal; it has also proven a catastrophic; costly failure to all concerned.
Offensive Wars on false manufactured pretexts have also been tried and exposed repeatedly albeit too late.
Not this time. The US armada is now deployed and ready to plunge the region in another forever war.
No doubt Iran and much of the region deserve better more democratic and responsive government, but that’s best left to their people and to diplomacy. War may seem like a quick fix. It’s not. It’s a lasting disaster.
Time to back off …
