The German Foreign Minister sat across from Iran’s Foreign Minister in New York. He expected a diplomatic conversation. He got a verdict.

Araghchi did not say “we are concerned.” He did not say “we call for restraint.” He said what needed to be said:

Restoring security to the region requires an end to US interference and aggression against Iran.

Germany and other European nations are tolerating US lawlessness and bullying.

Germany’s military and political support is a key factor enabling the Zionist entity’s continued crimes against the region’s peoples.

This complicity must stop. Impunity must end. The occupying entity must be held accountable.

That is not a talking point. That is a charge sheet. And Germany had no answer.

Germany does not just “tolerate” US lawlessness. Germany is a pillar of it.

Ramstein Air Base is the headquarters for US air operations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Every bomb dropped on Iran, every drone that surveilled Iranian territory, every wounded American soldier flown out of the war zone, they all passed through Ramstein.

Büchel Air Base hosts US tactical nuclear weapons under NATO’s nuclear sharing arrangement. German pilots train to drop American nuclear bombs. Germany is a nuclear launchpad.

Germany is the second-largest arms supplier to Israel after the United States. It has sold submarines capable of carrying nuclear missiles. It has supplied components for the F-35 fighter jets that bomb Gaza. It has provided ammunition, technology, and political cover.

Germany has consistently protected Israel at the United Nations. It has abstained or voted against ceasefire resolutions. It has refused to sanction Israeli officials. It has refused to enforce the ICC arrest warrant against Netanyahu.

Germany is not a neutral party. Germany is a combatant in everything but name.

What Araghchi Told Germany

He told Germany that its “human rights” rhetoric is hollow. He told Germany that it cannot claim to care about international law while arming the state that violates it every day. He told Germany that its support for Israel makes it complicit in genocide.

He also told Germany that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful. That Iran was negotiating in good faith. That the US and Israel bombed Iran during those negotiations. That the US and Israel assassinated Iranian leaders and scientists while Iran was at the table. That the US and Israel are now trying to blame Iran for the insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz, the same Strait that the US blockaded, the same Strait that the US turned into a war zone.

And he told Germany that Iran has communicated its conditions to the US. Logical conditions. Necessary conditions. Conditions that any sovereign state would demand.

Germany cannot answer because Germany is guilty.

Germany cannot say “we are neutral” because it hosts US bases, trains with US nuclear weapons, and sells arms to Israel.

Germany cannot say “we support international law” because it refuses to enforce the ICC warrant against Netanyahu and refuses to sanction Israel.

Germany cannot say “we want peace” because it has done nothing to stop the genocide in Gaza, the blockade on Iran, or the war in Yemen.

Germany cannot say “we are a moral authority” because its hands are covered in blood.

The Truth

Araghchi did not go to New York to negotiate with Germany. He went to confront Germany. He went to name Germany’s complicity. He went to tell Germany that its pretending is over.

Germany is not a mediator. Germany is not a neutral party. Germany is not a moral authority. Germany is a US client state that obeys Washington, arms Israel, hosts US bases, and pretends to care about human rights while the bombs fall.

That is the truth. And Araghchi said it to Germany’s face. And Germany had no answer.
