"You have to remember we haven't won a war since 1945. I'm not sure we've fought a war that was worth fighting since 1945.
The basic problem here is no one has looked at a history book. They would know the Iranians weren't going to run; they never run.
You're looking at a U.S. government that displays a complete ignorance of the world.
There is no one who can speak to what the characteristics of that country is in terms of operating under strife.
It's the same problem we had in Iraq, the same problem we had in Vietnam."
