Trump's military option failed. Now his diplomatic option is hitting a wall too. Iran's counter to the draft U.S. agreement: $112 billion in frozen assets released, sanctions lifted, and zero nuclear weapons, but full enrichment rights kept. Aaron Maté has been saying it for weeks: "The outcome we're going to see is no deal, but no war because Trump's military option has failed." Neither side can win. Neither side will quit. That's the trap.
