Two days and four attacks in London. One involves Jews but three don't, the establishment’s handling of these attacks reveals institutional racism, orchestrated politically motivated lies and integrated police corruption - all in service of fealty to Israel and a gathering authoritarianism.

A man (Essa Suleiman) stands accused of stabbing a man in Dover Street in London, and then stabbing two others in Golders Green. The two incidents carried out by the same man and just 45 minutes travel time apart received wildly different treatment.

The first attack in Dover Street was barely mentioned in police updates nor by Reuters or any mainstream media outlet, despite the very same media outlets splashing bombastic coverage of the Golders Green attack. Only this buried reference on the Met’s website acknowledges the first attack saying:

“Suleiman was also charged with attempted murder in relation to a separate incident on the same date in Great Dover Street.”

Suleiman was well known to police and mental health services and the man he stabbed in Dover Street was well known to Suleiman because he had known him for twenty years.

Why was the news of the first attack buried so deep and and the second painted in neon signs across the globe?

The motivations behind the Golders Green stabbings were immediately declared by the police (and then luridly headlined) as both racist (antisemitic) and terrorist before any investigation could begin. Unnamed eyewitnesses were quoted saying that Suleiman was “obviously looking for Jewish people to attack” - maybe this was true, but surely enormous caution needs to be exercised about this subjective assessment because:

* people were surely in shock after just witnessing a violent attack

* the eyewitnesses were unnamed at the time of reporting

* their assessments were amateur, not professional, a problem compounded by the (also buried) fact that Suleiman had been released from a psychiatric hospital just days before

* perhaps they had a vested interest in seeing things in a particular way, flowing maybe from a genuine fear of racism or conversely, their own racism towards a man obviously dressed as a Muslim.

* any snap assessment of an attack blurred by shock, speed and its unexpected nature in a busy street needs to held lightly

* the first attack which saw a Muslim man stabbed completely contradicts this narrative

Now these events have been widely and falsely reported as a SINGLE incident in a SINGLE location in which only TWO men were attacked and where the motivations of the attacker were known - but in each and every regard that reporting was false and the police, media and politicians knew it was false.

A more accurate reporting of the incident might have read like this:

“Three men have been stabbed in two locations in London, a 45 year old man recently released from a psychiatric hospital has been arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder.”

Those are the only known facts both at the time and now. It should be noted that Suleiman remains innocent until proven guilty and has not been charged under laws pertaining to racism or terrorism. His defence in court will surely pivot around his mental illness and grounds for a judgement of diminished responsibility.

Suleiman is but ONE man of demonstrably mixed motives and serious mental health issues, that alone exposes the ensuing hoopla in the UK political-media complex as not just ridiculous and mendacious, but indicative of a corrupt collusion between a cabal of political, state and media actors.

Just to recall a fraction of what has been built (and is still building) atop of the SECOND attack in Golders Green:

* Starmer convened a governmental COBRA meeting. These meetings are supposed to be about grave national emergencies. One was left with the suspicion that the meeting was called so the media could convey the impression that a grave national emergency involving race hatred was afoot. For context there were 16,344 knife offences recorded in London in 2024/25 and that entire catalogue of crimes did not trigger a single COBRA meeting.

* £25 million was pledged to protect Jewish Communities from “a rising tide of antisemitism” abruptly portrayed as an endemic national crisis.

* The terror level of the entire nation was raised to severe - this indicator is supposed to reflect serious threats of terrorism, but was elevated due to a single knife attack launched by a man already in custody who wasn’t even charged with terrorism. Again this raises the suspicion that it was raised to give a deliberately false impression of a nation suddenly engulfed by a hatred of Jews. An assertion for which no evidence exists.

* Thunderous headlines across almost the entirety of the UK media and right wing commentariat describing and condemning the “antisemitic attacks” in Golders Green as evidence of a ‘rising tide of antisemitism’ and how the government was failing to defend Jews from it.

* Sir Mark Rowley the Metropolitan Police commissioner put out a press statement shoring up the narrative that British Jews were “were facing their greatest ever threat from a ‘ghastly Venn diagram’ of hate from all sides”. He then attacked Green Party leader Zack Polanski who had retweeted concern about the professionalism of the arrest, an attack swiftly followed up by Keir Starmer. This left many noting that Downing Street and New Scotland Yard seemed to be working together to feed the media coordinated press releases in support of Starmer’s narratives and attack lines.

* Keir Starmer gave a press conference in which he doubled down on the narrative (sans any evidence) that the Golders Green attacks were part of a nationwide wave of hatred being directed towards Jews and went on to smear pro-Palestinian marches that oppose Israel’s genocide as antisemitic hatred. Protesters were said to be “venerating the murder of Jews”. Starmer’s explicit smear was that:

“If you stand alongside people who say ‘globalise the intifada’, you are calling for terrorism against Jews, and people who use that phrase should be prosecuted. It is racism, extreme racism, and it has left a minority community in this country scared, intimidated, wondering if they belong.”

* Jonathan Hall KC, who holds a job within Starmer’s government as an Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation swiftly called for a “moratorium” on pro-Palestinian marches, adding it was “clearly impossible at the moment” for them not to “incubate” antisemitism.

The Guardian (naturally) puffed this whole performance sympathetically stating:

“Some pro-Palestinian protests could be banned amid attacks on British Jews: PM worried about ‘cumulative’ effect of marches, as Met chief says Jewish communities facing biggest threat.”

With a sotto voce sub headline saying:

“Tension and dissent: inside the Green party’s antisemitism struggle”

This neatly framed the peril of Jewish communities as a literal fact instead of a proffered narrative, gives unquestioned credulity to Starmer’s ‘worry’ and platforms an abrupt concern about antisemitism in the Green Party which seems oddly concomitant with their appearance as an existential threat to Starmer’s Labour Party.

Now let us bring in another attack that happened yesterday and also in London. Four men were hospitalised when gunshots were fired from a vehicle in Coldharbour Lane, Brixton. No COBRA meeting, no elevation of terror threat status, no posed outrage on Question Time, no extra cash to protect the citizens of Brixton from a ‘rising tide of gun crime’, no speeches, no headlines, no visit from Starmer. The shooting clearly supported no narrative that the establishment was interested in, occurred in a postcode affording no political leverage and the victims were people nobody in power cared about.

Usually such incidents only make local news outlets in London but the media felt unusually moved to rush out reports saying (in advance of any investigation and before any arrests) that the attacks represented only ‘indiscriminate violence’. Why were they so keen to use that exact word over and over again? Perhaps because otherwise some people might wonder quite why THIS attack merits only a shrug of the shoulders but an attack in Golders Green elicits three days of political / media hysteria and the nation moved to DEFCON 1? As it turns out the police are investigating a knife attack they believe to be linked, so not so indiscrimnate after all but they remain stonily silent about how and indeed why they are linked - what a contrast from Golders Green!

Let us cut to the chase here. The UK government in collusion with senior police officers and virtually every outlet of the mainstream UK media wilfully misrepresented and weaponised a tragic knife attack in London to push a false narrative about antisemitism and then used that false narrative to smear opponents of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Palestine and Lebanon, launch an attack against free protest / speech and attack political opponents.

The role of the UK media in this is particularly pernicious, it is not the privileged and trusted job of journalists to act as both stenographers for and amplifiers of the proffered narratives of the powerful, they are supposed to use their vast resources and access to hold power to account - but instead they are colluding with power to pump out lies on an industrial scale.

How can it be possible that I, an ordinary family man working alone with almost no financial support, can point out the glaring factual holes in the narrative that surrounds the attacks in Golders Green better than the entire UK media complex? My reporting seen already by over 2.5 million people.

The exposed collusion shows us that the boundaries between mendacious political theatre and public service institutions are breaking down in the UK just as they have in Trump’s America. This should concern and shock everyone because it is the easily traversed preamble to the end of democracy and free speech and the imposition of a police state and an authoritarian demagogue.

We are quite clearly some way down that road already and the pace of travel is accelerating…
