*"Israel's peak period of natural increase has passed. Natural growth will continue to decline."

Shaiel Ben-Ephraim
Israel faces unprecedented demographic decline as population growth hits a historic low of just 0.9% - the first time below 1% since 1948. Birth rates are collapsing across all sectors. Meanwhile, deaths are surging as large cohorts enter their 70s-80s, and a mass exodus is underway with 37,000 more people leaving than arriving in 2025 - including over 30,000 native-born Israelis, a 50% jump since 2022. Researchers at the Taub Center are blunt: *"Israel's peak period of natural increase has passed. Natural growth will continue to decline."* A nation once defined by demographic vitality is now watching its youngest and brightest vote with their feet, fleeing in record numbers with no end in sight.
