Folks, just so everybody is very clear, this is laughable and a fiction. This massive amount of border area over multiple countries, including the Caspian Sea, cannot be interredicted by some mere task force headquartered in the state of Florida!

I serve on the Afghanistan/Pakistan border in 2011, and I can guarantee you that even when we had 140,000 NATO troops in Afghanistan, we never interredicted squat from the Taliban going back-and-forth between those two borders.

And somebody has a fantasy of believing that a border that’s *3 times longer*, through mountains just is inhospitable, plus the Caspian Sea, and you’re gonna succeed with no troops on the ground?

It just shows you the absence of seriousness of our most senior uniformed and civilian military leaders in the United States today. It is embarrassing and shameful.
