Shaiel Ben-Ephraim
Israeli hasbara tricksters lie knowingly, and all you have to do is listen to what they say in English versus what they say in Hebrew. On November 6 at 16:34 Israel time, Noa Tishby told her English followers the midterms were “about American issues and American policies.” At 18:40 she was on Channel 12 in Hebrew: “Israel was on the ticket... in a very, very blunt way. For both Democrats and Republicans.” (My translation, clip surfaced by .) So I went back through what she says in each language. On PBS in January, people who think Israel committed genocide don’t understand “that this is today’s blood libel.” On Channel 12 this week, one of two “so-called truths” Israelis have to deal with is that, in terms of international perception, there’s a genocide in Gaza right now. Channel 12, July 27, 2025: “There is no way to explain the humanitarian situation in Gaza from the Israeli side... We are becoming a pariah state.” Three days later, on X: “Israel is not waging a campaign to starve Palestinians. That’s a lie.” On PBS, critics “don’t know the culture. They don’t know the history, yet they feel the need to criticize Israel.” On Channel 12: “You can’t keep shouting that everyone is antisemitic,” and “It happened because of things the Israeli government did.” On Fox in October 2025, a new Middle East “manifested by President Trump and Prime Minister Bibi.” On Channel 12 this week, tying the alliance to Trump was “a strategic mistake of the first order.” Which one is the truth, Noa? Certainly not what she tells you in English.
