Yemeni forces seized advanced maritime surveillance and coastal-radar equipment from the Bab al-Mandab command infrastructure, reportedly including systems from France’s Thales, Germany’s Hensoldt and Israeli ELTA, alongside SharpEye maritime radar equipment.
Yemen has spent years demonstrating an impressive ability to reverse-engineer captured foreign technology and incorporate what it learns into domestically produced systems.
