An extraordinary opinion piece in The Jerusalem Post argues that America cannot recruit enough troops for a ground invasion of Iran, so the answer should be “economic enlistment”: offering indebted young Americans complete forgiveness of their student loans, credit cards, car finance and personal debts in return for 24 to 36 months of military service. In other words, drive an entire generation into debt, then use taxpayer money to clear it on the condition that they enlist to fight and potentially die in another foreign war. To be clear, this is currently a proposal from a defence analyst, not an announced Pentagon policy, but the fact that such a profoundly exploitative idea is being openly advocated tells us exactly how these strategists view ordinary Americans: not as citizens, but as financially trapped human resources to be converted into soldiers. Unbelievable! 🤬🤬🤬 jpost.com/defense-and-te
