Netanyahu confidant Ron Dermer tells the Republican Jewish Coalition that the US must "kinetically" respond "very forcefully" to any Iranian attack on Israel.
Trump must "stay the course" in the war and commit to regime change—whether he tells the public or not, he adds.
"The US has to have a policy—whether they declare it or not...that by the time Trump leaves office, Iran is free," Dermer tells the Jewish lobbying group.
"When Iran's regime falls, it's not just going to be the end of a lot of security threats to Israel, it's going to be the beginning of enormous possibilities."
