A Sydney library has pulled a Gaza book after a complaint.
Waverley Library took How to Sell a Genocide off the shelf for review after a Bondi terror attack survivor reportedly found its “hot item” display distressing.
The author, Adam Johnson, fired back with a simple question: would pro-Israel books also be pulled if Palestinians found them upsetting?
The council says the book isn't banned, just under review.
So if one side feels offended, should the book really come off the shelf?
