An Israeli right-wing think tank hired one of Washington’s major lobbying firms to influence the work of Congress and the Trump administration, Haaretz has learned.
The lobbying services were commissioned by the Misgav Institute. According to the lobbying contract, the effort is designed to promote a report written by Gilad Erdan (pictured) – Israel’s former ambassador to the United Nations and until recently a senior member of the Misgav Institute – calling on the U.S. to withdraw from the UN.
The lobbying firm was also hired to set up meetings with senior figures in Congress and the White House | Nettanel Slyomovics, Yarden Michaeli and Omer Benjakob
