This is the U.S. AI industry begging Trump for protectionism because U.S. companies can't compete with super-smart Chinese engineers. So Trump will try to cut off Americans from the best AI in the world, and that will cement America's reputation for being the dumbest country in the world, where we will only have access to old, stupid, heavily censored and guardrailed AI models, while the rest of the world will leap ahead.
