if Trump claims Iran is requesting talks or negotiations, he is lying. There are no new talks. This is about implementation—period.

BREAKING: Iran's chief negotiator Ghalibaf says negotiations with the U.S. are over—Iran will not move to a final deal until Washington fully implements the first five clauses of the MOU.
Tehran's clear position from his POV:
Iran went to Switzerland to discuss implementation of the 14-point MOU, not to negotiate a new agreement. Article 13 states final deal talks only begin after Articles 1, 4, 5, 10, and 11 are fulfilled. Until then, no new negotiations.
Ghalibaf called the U.S. commitment to end the war in Lebanon a "very big victory." A joint Iran-U.S.-Lebanon committee has been established to oversee implementation but US is unable to control Israel.
The naval blockade has been fully lifted. Iran has exported more than 40 million barrels of oil since—at roughly 20% higher prices.
Passage without cost in the Strait is only for 60 days. After that, Iran will impose fees. Iran and Oman retain sovereignty over navigation.
Iran's missile capabilities, the Resistance Axis, and nuclear rights are non-negotiable. Ghalibaf stated Iran is "ready for war" if the U.S. does not comply.
Ghalibaf argued the Strait should become busier, safer, and cheaper—saying Iran's advantage comes from making it function efficiently, not keeping it closed.
So if Trump claims Iran is requesting talks or negotiations, he is lying. There are no new talks. This is about implementation—period.
