  Israel spent a year vowing to destroy Hamas. Now the truth is leaking out: the government is letting them rebuild.

Former Israeli PM Naftali Bennett got asked whether another decade of Netanyahu and his hardliners could push Israel to start annexing territory. 

He didn't bother with the prediction. He dropped something far more damning instead:

"This government, my own, the Israeli government today, is allowing Hamas to rebuild in Gaza."

Sit with that for a second...

The same government that promised total victory, the one stacked with the loudest voices in Israeli politics, is the one Bennett says is handing Hamas the room to come back.

His point cuts right through the noise. 

The words are deafening. The actions are feeble. 

And the gap between them, he warns, is exactly where the next disaster gets built.
