The funniest part of this report is not that China “won.” It is that the West expected China to crack. They expected Hormuz to expose China’s dependence. They expected energy prices to squeeze China. They expected global instability to become another “China collapse” headline. Instead, China had oil reserves. China had 90–110 days of crude import cover. China had 1.4 terawatts of operating renewable capacity. China installed 315GW of new solar in one year — more than half of the world’s new solar. China’s EV exports jumped 110%. Solar shipments rose 60%. The empire creates chaos. China turns chaos into industrial acceleration. That is the part they hate. Because the real joke is not that China survived Trump’s Middle East war. The real joke is that Western analysts keep waiting for China to collapse, only to discover that the “crisis” is exposing their own fragility. They wanted China to be the punchline. Instead, the punchline was them.
