Sen. Chris Van Hollen just said what the White House refuses to admit:
“Today’s hearing with Secretary Hegseth confirmed the Iran war is a war in search of a mission.”
Hegseth talks endlessly about “winning.” But when asked repeatedly what winning actually looks like, he had nothing. Just the same recycled talking points that have already been disproven.
No clear endgame. No strategy. Just more money, more troops at risk, and more American blood.
This is not strength. This is failure dressed up as toughness.
The war must end.
