The reason that the Trump administration refuses to provide Congress with any legal justification for its illegal, unconstitutional, unprovoked and undeclared war against Iran is because it doesn't have any. The War Powers Act of 1973 only authorizes the President fight a war for 60 days if it is in response to a direct attack on US territory or military bases. However, Iran did not attack us and the war began with a US/Israeli joint sneak attack against Iran starting with the assassination of its leaders. The White House has falsely claimed Iran was on the verge of attacking US military bases without providing any evidence to support its claim while the Pentagon has revealed that Iran had no plans to attack the US at all, let alone imminently. Accordingly, Secretary of State Rubio is forced to claim President Trump's 94 day war against Iran is not actually a war even though there have been direct US military strikes on Iran every two to three days. Tomorrow, the US House of Representatives will pass the Iran War Resolution blocking further US offensive military action and mandating a US military withdrawal which Trump will veto. The next step is for Congress to defund the war until Trump ends it.

This is absolutely outrageous and should anger every American. Not only did we violate the 1973 War Powers Act and the U.S. Constitution in launching a war of choice without justification, we won’t even now give fake excuse to Congress. To remind, on March 2nd, Rubio said it x.com/hqnewsnow/stat…
