 The old Middle East order is starting to move without Israel at the center.

Brandon Weichert says high-level professionals and their families are already leaving, while the region moves toward a post-American order that could leave Israel increasingly isolated.

“Israel will now be the pariah state. They will now be the contained and sequestered state.”

He argues that if Israel loses the protection of the old U.S.-led regional order, the logic of Zionism itself starts running into a brutal demographic and political wall.

At that point, the “one-state solution” stops being a slogan and becomes the only structure left standing.

And that is the nightmare for Israel’s founding project.
