The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a complaint with the U.S. Justice Department accusing Ben-Gvir of running a system of torture, starvation, medical neglect, sexual violence and killings inside Israeli prisons that left at least 46 Palestinians dead between October 2023 and August 2025. Including U.S. citizens.
The complaint calls on DOJ to investigate, prevent him from leaving the country during any probe, and uphold Geneva Convention obligations.
Whether the Justice Department does anything with this complaint under the current administration is a separate question entirely but the filing puts the allegations formally on the record in an American legal context and that has its own weight regardless of what happens next.
