I'm just thinking out loud here, but: what if President Trump just showed some backbone and told Netanyahu that we're ending this war w the best MoU we can get, restoring an open SoH. If Israel is intent on continuing to wage an unwinnable war, we would strongly advise against it, but at the end of the day, they're a sovereign country and can do what they want.

They just won't be able to do it with our participation or physical support.

Politically difficult, but desperately needed.
