Iran has the upper hand: There is no way to attack Iran because of Iranian retaliatory strikes against all US allies, which would destroy their power plants and attached desalination plants.
What does Trump do, facing Iranian attacks against allied Gulf States and facing an Iran that does not budge (because it has the upper hand)?
You would believe it: HE USES IT AS LEVERAGE.
He tells the Gulf States: if you do not sign the Abraham Accords with Israel then I will attack Iran and they will destroy your water supply and millions will have to emigrate.
So, if you don’t want to die for lack of water, Trump implies, you must sign the Abrams Accords. I will not sign a deal with Iran unless you sign the Accords.
