59 times since March. That is how many times Trump has told you a deal with Iran is "very close." At this point, it isn't foreign policy it's just a reality TV loop designed to manipulate headlines, spike the news cycle, and mess with the markets. Look at the actual timeline: March 9: War is "pretty much complete." March 26: Talks are "going very well." April 1: It'll end "within 3 days." April 7: Ceasefire announced… then talks collapse days later. May 20: "Final stages." May 23-24: "Shortly" / "Pretty soon." May 28: JD Vance chimes in saying they are "very close." May 29: Trump hypes up a Situation Room "final determination." See the pattern? Tease a "historic breakthrough," move oil prices, escalate threats when it falls through, and then completely reset the clock. One day it's "total victory," the next it's "peace deal." It is total whiplash diplomacy, and meanwhile, the actual war just keeps dragging on. If a deal has been "days away" for three straight months, there is no master plan. It’s just permanent improvisation. How long are we going to keep buying the hype?
