Trump Declares Iran War "Over" One Day Before the Legal Deadline Operation Epic Fury may technically be over due to legal reasons, but this EPIC FAIL is far from over. The administration told NBC News that "for War Powers Resolution purposes, the hostilities that began on Saturday, February 28 have terminated." The naval blockade is still active. Tens of thousands of troops remain deployed. The Strait is still closed. If a president can declare hostilities "terminated" the day before the 60-day clock expires, the War Powers Resolution is WORTHLESS.
