A population that confuses the freedom to choose between options curated by power with freedom itself.

A population that experiences its own exploitation with pride: working three jobs is called hustle, having no safety net is called resilience, being disposable is called opportunity.

A population that fights with genuine passion against its own interests and calls it patriotism.

This is not an insult.
