THE U.S.'S "MASTER PLAN" FOR GAZA
In what seemed like quite a serious gaffe, US special envoy Steve Whitkoff said during an interview on CBS's 60 minutes that he alongside others in the Trump administration and Jared Kushner have been preparing a master plan for rebuilding Gaza for over two years now.
The interview which aired on October 19th 2025, left many commenting on how uncomfortable Jared Kushner looked when Whitkoff was talking about a "master plan" to rebuild Gaza. This interview was recored before the official ceasefire had even come to be, and his words have left many wondering whether Trump's initial intention of building a "riviera" - alongside Israeli plans of new settlements in Gaza - may in fact come to be.
The Trump administration has previously allowed the zionist entity to expand illegally and legitimise its occupation of the Syrian Golan heights and even move its capital from tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The question is after weakening resistance movements int he region will Trump's men in the Middle East allow Israel to tighten its grip on Gaza as it has in the West Bank by building settlements in the besieged strip?
