Trump on Iran today:
“If I had my choice — take the oil. It’s there for the taking. There’s not a thing they can do about it. Unfortunately, the American people would like to see us come home.”
The President of the United States just said out loud that he wants to seize a sovereign nation’s natural resources.
And the only thing stopping him is public opinion.
Not international law. Not the UN Charter. Not the Constitution. Not Congress. The American people’s poll numbers.
