Daniel Davis Deep Dive
President Trump today acknowledged that there was a deal to have the Strait of Hormuz opened up, that Iran had agreed to a mutually beneficial deal, but then on his word he canceled it. Let that sink in: the Strait could’ve been open, a deal had been made, and because the president suddenly decided he didn’t want to allow Iran to benefit too, he sank the deal for everyone. Not only again did the diplomatic word of the United States mean nothing, our friends and allies keep suffering financially. That is close to being the epitome of failure of leadership.

BREAKING: TRUMP ON STRAIT OF HORMUZ: "They came to us and they said, 'We will agree to open the strait.' And all my people were happy, except me. I said, 'Wait a minute, if we open the strait, that means they're gonna make $500 million a day.' I don't want them to make $500
