Their chosen slogan—"One God, One Leader, One Nation"—is a near perfect echo of the old monarchical triad: "God, Shah, Country."
This illustrates a key truth: that regardless of the prevailing ideology or nominal form of government, a civilizational state like Iran is defined by its underlying historical continuity.
