The US’s international relations are based on the Monroe Doctrine, the Project for a New American Century, and the desire to sustain hegemony and capital expansion. Israel’s international relations are based on a colonial and profoundly racist doctrine of “recovering” Eretz Israel, which project demands constant war, apartheid and ethnic cleansing. Iran’s international relations are based on the country’s constitution, which mandates that foreign policy should “assure the continuation of the struggle for the liberation of all deprived and oppressed peoples in the world”. This is why Iran has stood resolutely with Palestine; why it supported the South African liberation movements; why it has close links with Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua; why it contributes to the multipolar project alongside China, Russia and others. The US and Israel are fighting an unjust, imperialist war. Iran is fighting a just war to protect its sovereignty. May Iran win a glorious victory, and may the US and Israel suffer an ignominious and comprehensive defeat.
