A new bill in France could make the slogan "Free Palestine" punishable with 5 years in prison.
However, this law will have unintended consequences.
It states, "incitement to the destruction or denial of a state" is a violation.
This would mean anyone in France who has publicly supported the US-Israeli regime change war on Iran could be punished with 5-years in prison, since the whole point of that war is the literal destruction of the Iranian state.
France will also have to arrest & imprison dozens and dozens of prominent Jews, Zionists & Israelis who liken the Israeli government and its policies to the Nazis, including Yair Golan & Avraham Burg, since that is a clear violation of the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which would get adopted as part of this law.
France will also have to arrest Apartheid Defense League boss for his blatant antisemitism as well, in which he goes out of his way at every opportunity to conflate Israel and Jews, which is blatant antisemitism according to the IHRA definition.
