Why is the US planning to go to war with Iran? The official reason for the crisis was the slaughter of protestors by the regime. But the way the regime treats its citizens has barely been discussed in negotiations.
Instead the US has focused on three issues:
1) The core issue is Iran's continued enrichment of uranium.
2) Curbing Iran's missile program, which it views as a regional threat.
3) Financial and military support for regional proxies Hezbollah and Hamas.
These are not the interests of the Iranian people. These are the interests of Israel. As usual.
