A Trump adviser has confirmed to Axios that the Pentagon has prepared multiple strike scenarios for Iran, including one that involves assassinating Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his son Mojtaba, who is seen as his potential successor.
"They have something for every scenario. One scenario takes out the ayatollah and his son and the mullahs."
The adviser added: "What the president chooses no one knows. I don't think he knows."
