and Israel want regime change in Iran: ‘They don’t want any country in the region to EVEN BELIEVE that they are sovereign.’
‘Even the Iranians were prepared to do a deal with the United States. They backed the war on Iraq, they backed the war on Afghanistan, hoping they would get some crumbs from the imperial table. They got nothing.
Why? A, they’re incredibly wealthy in oil reserves and secondly, they have preserved their sovereignty. Whatever mistakes they have made, they have preserved the sovereignty.
And the US and Israel in particular in this region do not want any medium-sized or large Arab country to be sovereign or to even believe it’s sovereign.’
