BREAKING: MORE DETAILS ON HERO AHMED AL-AHMED
Ahmed al-Ahmed is a Syrian-Australian fruit shop owner from Idlib, Syria.
During the Hanukkah attack, Ahmed charged the gunman with no weapon and no training. He was shot twice, but still managed to grab the weapon, force the attacker back, and disarm him.
Ahmed then secured the weapon and was taken to the hospital.
Officials say many lives were saved because of Ahmed’s actions.
