Poland’s September shutdown of the China–EU Railway Express was a disaster.
Within just two weeks, the resulting shipment delays to Germany and other EU countries forced Warsaw to backtrack and reopen the route.
A similar crisis is unfolding with the Dutch government’s seizure of Nexperia: China’s ban on Nexperia’s operations is wreaking havoc on the semiconductor supply chain.
If this isn’t resolved immediately, major auto OEMs and suppliers face crippling shutdowns.
