If anything, I see myself as a “witness.” I’d also be pleased, if you’d call me an “interpreter.”

It seems extrajudicial killings are only a problem when the wrong country carries them out. When it’s Israel, international law suddenly becomes optional, more of a decorative principle than a binding standard.
Israel assassinated the Prime Minister of the Houthi-led Yemeni government, Ahmed Ghaleb al‑Rahwi, along with several ministers & officials, in an airstrike on the capital, Sanaa last Thursday.
There has been no international outcry, no condemnation from Western leaders, & no diplomatic fallout. Don’t hold your breath there won’t be.
It seems extrajudicial killings are only a problem when the wrong country carries them out. When it’s Israel, international law suddenly becomes optional, more of a decorative principle than a binding standard.
Let’s not confuse this with counterterrorism; it’s not. This is state-sanctioned impunity, wrapped in silence & enabled by the West’s double standards.
