Gaza and Trump’s Ethnic Cleansing of the Century Proposal

Nearly eight years ago, Donald Trump and his Zionist son-in-law, Jared Kushner, unveiled the so-called “Deal of the Century”—a plan Palestinians aptly labeled the “Steal of the Century.” The so-called peace proposal sought to normalize illegal Jewish-only colonies in the West Bank, and deny Palestinians their aspirations for an independent state. Four years later, the only “Deal of the Century” turned out to be the $2 billion investment Jared Kushner secured for his new fund from Saudi Arabia.

Now, Trump is proposing relocating Palestinians from Gaza, urging Arab regimes to “build housing at a different location where they can maybe live in peace for a change.” He floated the idea of displacing approximately 1.5 million people—a figure strikingly similar to the number of 1948 refugees now living in Gaza.

I agree with Trump—but let’s take it a step further. Instead of relocating 1.5 million people to another location, we should relocate 1.6 million Palestinians back to their original homes from which they were ethnically cleansed in 1948, not to Egypt, not to Jordan.

Trump is reaching out to Abdel Fattah al-Sisi of Egypt, and King Abdulla of Jordan when he should be talking to Benjamin Netanyahu. Rather than looking far east and west, he should be looking north and east of Gaza, demanding that Netanyahu return Palestinians to their original villages and cities. Any proposal to move Palestinians outside historical Palestine only compounds the original sin of the 1948 ethnic cleansing.

The essence of the old Trump’s misnomer, Deal of the Century, and current proposal to “. . . just clean out that whole thing” in Gaza stems from the same deeply rooted Zionist dehumanization of Palestinians. Trump’s proposal to displace Palestinians is nothing less than a regurgitation of the Israeli Likud Party’s racist agenda, aimed to maintain a Jewish apartheid state from the river to the sea. This idea is a grotesque inversion of justice, where the oppressed are further punished for their victimhood, while the oppressor is enabled and rewarded.

The immediate, and raw response to Trump’s racist proposal came from the hundreds of thousands who, despite immense hardship, waited in the cold to return to their homes—many reduced to rubble in northern Gaza. Their resilience and determination serve as a powerful rebuke to any plans to uproot them from their land.

This unwavering determination underscores the unbreakable bond between the Palestinian people and their homeland, a connection that endures even in the face of immense suffering and destruction. For these individuals, their homes—no matter how devastated—represent more than physical structures; they embody identity, history, and a profound connection to the land.

Trump’s presumptuous proposal is a continuation to the legacy of systemic Israeli apartheid policies that prioritize the expansion of illegal Jewish-only colonies on Palestinian land. It reflects an unabashed disregard to the rights of Palestinians and perpetuates oppression and dispossession under the guise of false compassion. Not surprising, the first two individuals who welcomed Trump’s proposals were Israeli racist ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir.

Like the racist Israeli ministers Smotrich and Ben Gvir, Trump sees the very existence of Palestinians as an obstacle to peace. This mindset echoes the ideology of the Nazis, who viewed the presence of European Jews as a problem—an ideology that ultimately failed despite the horrors of the Holocaust. Similarly, Israel’s attempts to ethnically cleanse Gaza have also failed, even after subjecting Gaza to more explosives than were dropped on Dresden, Hamburg, and London during WWII.

Blaming the victims only serves to deflect attention and absolve the aggressor from responsibility for the structural injustices and human rights violations it inflicts. Such a warped perspective allows Israel to persist with its malevolent policies while avoiding meaningful international scrutiny and accountability.

Palestinians in Gaza, enduring one of the most inhumane economic siege areas on Earth, have long resisted displacement. After persistent 15 months of genocidal war, during which 66% of homes were destroyed and more than 10% of the population was murdered or injured, their resilience remains unbroken. The new “soft approach” to uproot Palestinians from their land echoes memories of the 1948 Nakba, when hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were “temporally” displaced to make room for the European Jewish immigrants escaping the Nazi atrocities.

If there is any logic to the idea of relocation, it should start with Israeli leaders like Benjamin Netanyahu, Smotrich, and Ben Gvir—whose ancestry traces back to places like Poland, Ukraine, and Iraq—and who might consider moving back to their ancestral lands rather than demanding the displacement of Native Palestinians from their homes.

Any suggestion to displace Palestinians—whether overt or disguised—is a grave breach of the Fourth Geneva Convention, enables and emboldens Israeli right-wing policies that undermine Palestinian statehood and the right to self-determination. These actions are not only morally reprehensible but sets a dangerous precedent to legitimize ethnic cleansing under the guise of political pragmatism.

Yet, Trump’s proposal should not come as a surprise, given that many of his cabinet members openly align with Israel’s right-wing agenda. In fact, some of them appear to champion and prioritize Zionist interests even more fervently than Trump’s so-called “America First” agenda.

Like his so-called “Deal of the Century,” any proposal that perpetuates injustice cannot bring peace; it only fuels cycles of hatred and sows the seeds of endless conflict. Trump’s plan is not only immoral but also emblematic of a broader pattern of anti-Palestinian racism, dehumanization, and dispossession. The people of Gaza deserve justice, not further humiliation; dignity, not ethnic cleansing.

Russia May Lift Restrictions on Nuclear Weapons If US Goes Through With Trump Missile Defense Order

Trump signed an executive order to develop an "Iron Dome for America" that can intercept advanced missiles

 January 30, 2025 at 4:38 pm ET

Russia may expand its arsenal of nuclear weapons if the US goes ahead with a major missile defense program that’s been ordered by President Trump, Russia’s TASS news agency reported on Thursday.

Trump signed an executive order on Monday to develop an “Iron Dome for America” that can intercept ballistic, hypersonic, and other types of advanced missiles, unlike Israel’s Iron Dome, which is designed to intercept short-range crude rockets. The order also calls for an improvement in missile defense to protect US troops deployed in other countries and the territory of US allies.

Writing in the Russian journal International Affairs, Grigory Mashkov, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s special ambassador, said the US’s global missile defense posture was already a threat to Russia and said expanding it further “puts an end to the prospects of strategic offensive arms reduction and preservation of strategic stability on the previous terms.”

Mashkov said that it is “not ruled out that in the current conditions of confrontation with the West, with its policy of inflicting strategic damage on Russia, we may face the need for moving away from restrictions on nuclear and missile arsenals in favor of their quantitative and qualitative increase.”

He said one possible retaliatory measure Russia could take is adjusting its position on the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and other commitments Moscow has made related to the transparency of its nuclear stockpile.

“We will have to take a fresh look at all our commitments in the area of strengthening transparency and confidence-building measures, and suspend discussions on nuclear risks and threats, which are becoming empty talk in the context of growing efforts by the West to undermine strategic and non-strategic nuclear deterrent forces,” Mashkov said.

Trump’s executive order clashes with his recent comments about seeking “denuclearization” with Russia and China since it’s clear the development of a major new missile defense system would spark a new arms race.

Mashkov warned that an arms race was already underway. “A missile arms race is already in full swing. So is the large-scale modernization of nuclear arsenals and WMD delivery vehicles. The militarization of space is gaining momentum, which, in the near future, is likely to become another scene of military confrontation,” he said.

Trump Insists Egypt and Jordan Will Take Palestinians From Gaza

Both Egypt and Jordan have rejected the idea of aiding in the ethnic cleansing of Gaza

 January 30, 2025 at 6:35 pm ET

President Trump on Thursday insisted Jordan and Egypt will take in Palestinian refugees from Gaza despite fierce objections from the two Arab nations.

Trump’s recent suggestion to “clean out” Gaza of its Palestinian population and send them to Jordan and Egypt raised fears that the US may support the ethnic cleansing of the territory, but his idea was met with quick rejection from Amman and Cairo and the wider Arab world.

When asked on Thursday about the Egyptian and Jordanian response to his proposal, Trump said, “They will do it. They will do it. They’re gonna do it, okay? We do a lot for them, and they’re gonna do it.”

Trump’s calls to remove Palestinians from Gaza were welcomed by the more hardline elements of the Israeli government who are openly in favor of ethnic cleansing and the establishment of Jewish settlements, including Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who said he’s working to make Trump’s vision a reality.

Smotrich and others frame their desire for ethnic cleansing as “voluntary migration,” but the Israeli military campaign has left most of Gaza uninhabitable. Some media reports have said the Trump administration is discussing the idea of “temporarily” relocating Gaza residents during reconstruction, but many would likely be hesitant to leave over fears Israel wouldn’t let them back.

Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, said Thursday that there’s “almost nothing left” of Gaza, comments he made after visiting the Israeli-controlled Netzarim Corridor and observing the destruction from a helicopter.

“People are moving north to get back to their homes and see what happened and turn around and leave … there is no water and no electricity. It is stunning just how much damage occurred there,” Witkoff told Axios.

Witkoff, a real estate investor from New York, said he thinks the reconstruction of Gaza will take 10 to 15 years. “There has been this perception we can get to a solid plan for Gaza in five years. But its impossible. This is a 10 to 15-year rebuilding plan,” he said.

Witkoff added that the demolition and removal of the rubble alone would take five years. “There is nothing left standing. Many unexploded ordnances. It is not safe to walk there. It is very dangerous. I wouldn’t have known this without going there and inspecting,” he said.

Israel’s Smotrich Praises Trump Administration After Meeting With Witkoff

Smotrich wants Israel to restart its genocidal war with the goal of conquering the territory and cleansing it of its Palestinian population

 January 30, 2025 at 8:28 pm ET

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich praised the Trump administration on Thursday after he held a meeting with Steve Witkoff, the US envoy for the Middle East.

Witkoff has been pushing for full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire deal, an idea strongly opposed by Smotrich, who not only wants the genocidal war to be restarted but wants an escalation with the goal of the “gradual takeover of the entire Gaza Strip.”

Despite the two having seemingly opposing ideas, Smotrich appeared to be happy with how the meeting went.

“We discussed the issues at hand, the courageous relationship and close cooperation between Israel and the United States, a relationship that is now strengthening dramatically with President Trump,” Smotrich wrote on X after the meeting. “We discussed the great importance of the return of the hostages and the complete victory for the sake of strengthening the security of the State of Israel.”

Smotrich said they also discussed the “new, ‘outside the box’ thinking that the United States is promoting to enable the elimination of the forces of evil and the promotion of peace through strength in the Middle East and in general.”

Smotrich could be referring to President Trump’s calls to “clean out” Gaza of its Palestinian population and send them to Jordan and Egypt, an idea Trump has doubled down on despite strong opposition from the Arab countries. When Trump first made the comments, Smotrich said he would work to make the ethnic cleansing of Gaza a reality and claimed it was the only “solution that will bring peace and security to the residents of Israel.”

Concluding his post about meeting with Witkoff on Thursday, Smotrich said, “President Trump’s USA is leading a moral and just line, and we look forward to continued cooperation to advance our common goals, and we will work on them together.”

THE CARVE UP OF UKRAINE!

 https://x.com/SMO_VZ/status/1885002479764455682

THE CARVE UP OF UKRAINE! According to various reports and intelligence assessments, Russia has outlined plans to divide Ukraine into 3 distinct parts, each with different implications for control and influence in the short term : This is now being voiced in Russian media and throughout the Non Russian regions within Europe itself. Projected > New Regions of Russia: This part includes territories that Russia has annexed as its own, such as Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson regions, and Crimea with Sevastopol These areas in their full official boundaries will be formally integrated into Russia, with Moscow exerting direct control over them. SHORT TERM Pro-Russian State Formation: A significant portion of central and southern Ukraine, including Kiev, would be turned into a pro-Russian state. Fully integrated into the Russian Federation at a later date, subject to legal requirements and military oversight. This region would include areas like Kyiv, Chernihov, Sumy, Kharkov, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, and Zhytomyr Disputed Territories: The western regions of Ukraine, including Volyn, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Lyov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, and Zakarpattia, are areas where Russia suggests their fate could be negotiated with neighboring countries like Hungary, Poland, and Romania. A masterclass on diplomacy with Russia's new neighbours projected. Here, the idea is to establish the possibility of a small Ukranian puppet state that would be politically aligned with Russia, potentially under pro-Russian leadership with a military presence from Russia. The location of this rump state would be the west of Kiev and bordering the lands assigned to Poland. These plans have been part of Russian strategy documents and intelligence briefings, suggesting a long-term vision for Ukraine's political and territorial landscape prior to February 2022. However, the full execution of such a plan for a Rump state would depend on numerous geopolitical factors, including the reactions of current Ukranians , its bordering state , and the international community. It is not likely that the principal 4 bordering nations will fundamentally disagree as they are being provided their historic lands back! Therefore, it's expected that the rest of the EU will fall in behind. This information from Russian sources is corroborated by current demographics, which show less than 15 million Ukrainians are still inside Ukraine, which is now due to Emmigration, in the minority of all of pre 2022 Ukraine. The balance of the population of other ethnic groups in the regions to be handed over is in support of such border movements. It's important to note that these plans reflect intentions and strategies of Russia and will not be affected by outside influences within NATO or EU. Ukraine no longer has any input into its demise. The only likely resistance will be politically within NATO and the EU , but the need to bring Russian energy back into Europe will far outweigh the disgruntled warmongers of the EU / NATO. International diplomacy and the U.S. president is of no immediate worry to Russia. Additionally, it seems that this strategy to appease Russia's immediate new neighbours, has been planned which originated for some time and are part of a broader strategy that could only have been fully realized due to Russias new military, political, and economic recent achievements !! ADIOS Ukraine , hello to a new Atlas !
