the male photographic gaze. it makes one scream - sometimes

                               
   photography's male  'gaze' makes one scream! sometimes.  challenge it and you will be accused of  'casting stones'  .  a real debate about the politics of photography is just not easy in India. i knew that from my long years there. nothing seems to have changed.  sad.
