Ariel Toaff is a jew who wrote his book with the full support of the Israeli university that employed him. The university believed he would only publish his book in Hebrew and in Israel. When he published it in Italian and it sold out, he was forced to apologize and disavow what he had written. Not because any of it was wrong, but because it was made available to the goyim.
