Volker Turk wants countries to stop sending arms to Israel and companies to stop doing business tied to illegal settlements.
Strongly worded is as far as the UN gets to go.
Gaza's flattened, the West Bank's getting raided, southern Lebanon got invaded, and not a single shipment out of Washington, Berlin or London is pausing because Turk says it should.
He's right about the law. He just can't enforce a word of it, and everyone selling the weapons knows that.
