For months and months, we have written and reported that Israel has been systematically erasing entire Palestinian cities. I just screen-recorded this from Google Maps. This is Rafah, as shown in Google’s newly updated satellite imagery. Other parts of the Gaza Strip have not yet been updated. As far as I can tell, some of the latest available imagery there is still from two years ago.
The last 10 seconds show tents sheltering displaced families near the beach.

The destruction of Rafah is a war crime beyond dispute.
All countries need to boycott Israel, cut diplomatic relations with it, end the funding and support that enable this destruction, and impose serious sanctions.
This is not only about Netanyahu and his criminal government. This is about what Israel and its broader project have been set on since its creation: the systematic destruction and dispossession of Palestinians and colonization of the land of Palestine.
