BREAKING: US Treasury Secretary Bessent announces the US is launching "the single greatest financial offensive ever marshalled against an adversary" against Iran, per FT.
Bessent implies the US will directly target China and Gulf states, saying "any nation that serves as a financial artery of a withering regime should expect to share in its isolation" and that any country that keeps doing business with Iran will become a "global pariah."
Iran already warned all Gulf countries not to join the US in the economic war and "any country that takes part in imposing economic restrictions on Iran will be regarded as an enemy."
Gulf states will have an impossible choice to make.
