Everybody told me this could never happen.

For years, I said that regional stability was the direction of travel in the Middle East and that the US would eventually have to exit the region, especially after China brokered the normalization of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia in 2023.

And that it needed a theatrical moment like the British Empire and the Suez Canal to manage the transition.

That is what we are witnessing. 

The MIC is moving on from the Middle Eastern forever war model and coming home to profit from European unrest and US domestic terrorism instead. 

That makes Israel a toxic asset.

A stable, post-US-dominated region will require a Palestinian state.

It’s taking longer than any of us would like, but it’s the biggest change I’ve ever seen in the world during my lifetime.
