Western liberal feminists love the idea of "liberating" Muslim women from the "oppressive" veil and "sending" us to school to give us a "voice", but when non-hijab-wearing Muslim women like me with PhDs school THEM on how liberal feminism is anchored in white supremacy and serves the imperialist capitalist agenda and harms all women, they get mad at us for our defiance and not just shutting the f’ up.
