Iran’s every action and public statements are very consistent, that they will not stop until they get terms that they want, and they have the leverage — with control over the Strait of Hormuz — to hold out for their objectives.

Wait, Axios reported yesterday, and major news outlets in America echoed, that Iran was “begging for talks”, and had apologize for their “mistake“ attacking shipping in the Omani corridor.
This today does not sound like a remorseful nation, especially coming from an official news agency of Iran.
it is amazing to me how many people still believe these illogical statements coming out of Washington, about the sides “being about to finish a deal“ or on the verge of ending the war, or that Iran is “begging for a deal”, etc., etc., etc.
Iran’s every action and public statements are very consistent, that they will not stop until they get terms that they want, and they have the leverage — with control over the Strait of Hormuz — to hold out for their objectives.
Why is that hard to figure out? Why do we keep believing the opposite, especially when you’ve had literally MONTHS of physical experience to see that what our media and president say on this topic are lies, or maybe more charitable, grossly inaccurate?
