🇱🇧 New: Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem rejects the new Israel-Lebanon framework agreement, calling it a “humiliation,” “a surrender of sovereignty,” and “null and void.” 🔸 Qassem said the agreement abandons the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding, which he said made ending the war in Lebanon its first priority and guaranteed Lebanon’s territorial integrity before final negotiations. 🔸 He warned that linking an Israeli withdrawal to Hezbollah’s disarmament across all of Lebanon “is a very dangerous proposal that crosses every red line,” arguing it allows Israel to indefinitely delay its withdrawal by claiming Lebanon has failed to disarm the resistance. 🔸 Qassem accused the Lebanese government of making “free concessions” through direct negotiations with Israel, saying it abandoned the leverage created by the U.S.-Iran memorandum and the resistance’s battlefield gains. 🔸 He said the agreement effectively legitimizes Israel’s continued military presence in southern Lebanon, warning it could leave parts of the country under occupation for years and even pave the way for annexation. 🔸 Qassem said Hezbollah will pursue “all necessary means and international and Arab pressure” to force Israel to implement the memorandum’s first clause by fully withdrawing from Lebanon, while vowing the group “will continue as a resistance on the ground to expel the occupation.”
