Trump Demands Countries Sign Abraham Accords as Condition of Iran Deal
Trump revealed that during phone calls Saturday with regional leaders he told them signing the Abraham Accords should be MANDATORY as part of any Iran settlement.
The calls included:
Saudi Arabia โ King Mohammed bin Salman
UAE โ President Mohammed bin Zayed
Qatar โ Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and PM Mohammed bin Abdulrahman
Pakistan โ Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir
Turkey โ President Recep Tayyip Erdoฤan
Egypt โ President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi
Jordan โ King Abdullah II
Bahrain โ King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa
Trump stated that countries refusing to sign "should not be part of this Deal" and that it shows "bad intention," effectively making normalization with Israel a condition for participation in any agreement.
After threatening Iran that without a deal it is back to the battlefront, "BIGGER and STRONGER than ever before, he floated normalization.
He also floated Iran itself eventually joining the Accords, writing it would be "an Honor" to have Tehran in the coalition if a deal is signed. That will NEVER happen.
