A very interesting update from the Trump administration. Please read the excerpt:
President Trump says he has called off a US "military attack" on Iran which was scheduled for tomorrow after leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE called him and asked him to "hold off."
This has to be one of the biggest geopolitical jokes of the century. Now, Washington wants us to believe that it was Bibi Netanyahu who "asked" Trump to attack Iran. And even while the attack was ongoing, that it was the Saudi Crown Prince who kept pouring fuel on the fire by asking Trump to continue bombing Iran. We were also made to believe that it was Pakistan that "begged" Donald Trump to agree to a ceasefire. And now it is Israel that wants Trump to continue bombing Iran, but the Gulf States have "pleaded" with Trump to hold off and not attack.
This is the narrative that is being actively boosted on this platform by the algorithm, and everyone here seems to have swallowed it hook, line, and sinker.
So you mean to tell me that America, arguably the most powerful nation on planet Earth, is actively following orders like an obedient soldier from smaller nations?
Do people really believe that Washington is being controlled by regional powers in the Middle East even though their military expenditures, advanced missile defense networks, intelligence gathering apparatuses, and domestic security architectures are actively and heavily being funded by the United States?
If you still do not understand how silly this narrative is, please permit me to paint a better picture for you.
Just to maintain a blockade on Iranian ports alone, the US has deployed its very best and most expensive nuclear powered aircraft carriers and submarines in the Persian Gulf, with more than 15,000 troops. Merely sustaining the logistics necessary to feed them in the middle of the Arabian Sea alone costs hundreds of thousands of dollars per day.
The 100 U.S. aircraft that are currently helping enforce the ban on Iranian maritime traffic, including surveillance planes and helicopters, constantly burn millions of gallons of specialized jet fuel daily. This bleeds American taxpayers nothing less than $20 million dollars per day alone.
Not only this, we have an additional twenty plus warships and about ten Arleigh Burke class destroyers that are powered by gas turbines and currently patrolling the region to enforce the ban. A single destroyer alone burns thousands of gallons of fuel per hour when operating at high speeds to intercept Iranian vessels.
If you put everything together, you realize that it costs Washington over $60 million dollars per day just to enforce the blockade of Iranian ports.
Now, this figure is only what it costs the Pentagon to simply float on top of the water.
The moment the shooting starts, or the U.S. Navy has to actively escort commercial ships through the kill zone of the Strait of Hormuz, that daily cost multiplies by fifty to one hundred times.
They have to actively hunt and destroy Iran's coastal missile batteries, radar installations, drone launch sites, hardened underground bunkers, and fast attack speedboat swarms.
And even while all this is happening, they have to maintain air to air refueling, electronic warfare jamming operations, satellite repositioning, and constant anti submarine sweeps.
If you factor all of this, you will understand that in active combat settings the US government will be burning over $100 million dollars every twenty minutes just to sustain the aggression.
Let us not even talk about the logistical nightmare and costs required to even wage a full scale war against Iran.
So you believe that with all these military capabilities and billions of dollars spent every single day, along with risking the lives of American troops, it is the Gulf allies that are controlling America?
Well, if you believe that, then I am sure you also believe that Elon Musk is not the one in charge of his money.
You must believe it is his cooks commanding him on what to eat, his chauffeur dictating where to travel, his maid manipulating him on how Tesla should work, and his gardeners instructing him on how to launch SpaceX rockets into orbit.
